Annual Century Club & Scholarship Awards Dinner

WATERLOO, IL — The Monroe County Republicans recently hosted their Annual Century Club & Scholarship Awards Dinner on Thursday April 30th, at Acorns Golf Course in Waterloo, bringing together Republican leaders, supporters, and community members to celebrate the next generation of Monroe County leaders.

A highlight of the evening was the presentation of the Monroe County Republican Scholarship Awards. After completing a competitive application process that included an essay and interview, two outstanding high school graduates were selected to receive scholarships in recognition of their academic achievement, leadership, and commitment to their communities.

This year's scholarship recipients were Quincy Davis and Claire Arnold.

"The Monroe County Republican Organization is proud to invest in the future of our community by recognizing students who have demonstrated excellence both inside and outside the classroom," said Chairman Keith Kolmer. "Quincy and Claire represent the values of hard work, leadership, and service that will help strengthen Monroe County for years to come."

The evening also included a special recognition of retiring Chairman Ed McLean, who was honored for his years of service, leadership, and dedication to the Monroe County Republican Party. Friends, supporters, and fellow Republicans expressed their appreciation for McLean's commitment to advancing Republican values and strengthening the organization throughout his tenure.

Newly elected Chairman Keith Kolmer thanked McLean for his leadership and the foundation he helped build for the future of the party.

"I am grateful for Ed's leadership and dedication to the Monroe County Republicans over the years," said Kolmer. "His service has helped strengthen our organization, and I look forward to building on that success as we continue to engage Republicans across Monroe County."

The annual Century Club & Scholarship Awards Dinner also serves as an opportunity to thank the dedicated supporters whose contributions help advance Republican principles and support community-focused initiatives throughout Monroe County.

The Monroe County Republicans congratulate Quincy Davis and Claire Arnold on their accomplishments and wish them continued success in their future educational and professional endeavors. The organization also extends its sincere gratitude to Ed McLean for his years of service and leadership.
