Treasurer for the Monroe County Republicans

Neil Giffhorn was first elected to the role of Monroe County Republican Treasurer in 2020.  He has been an active volunteer in his community since 1995. Giffhorn was elected as the Waterloo Community School Board in 2017 and is Vice President of the board. Most recently, Giffhorn was chosen as Scouting America on their Greater St. Louis Area Executive Board and as Kaskaskia Region District Chair. Giffhorn is a fierce advocate for children in the local school district. His expertise as an attorney, combined with his son's attendance at the school, equips Giffhorn with a unique understanding to effectively represent the Waterloo School District. He and his wife reside in Waterloo with their 2 children.
